Transfers
A transfer is a service that provides transportation between an airport or designated location and a predefined address. Additional stops or waiting time will be charged according to the applicable per-stop or per-minute rate. Transfers may be converted to hourly service upon request by the passenger, the booker, or if the passenger chooses to leave personal items in the vehicle. When converted, the hourly service begins at the time of the change, and the receipt will reflect both the transfer cost and the total hours of service used. Please note that transfer or hourly rates provided through the OnPoint booking tool are subject to change and are not guaranteed.
Grace Period
A grace period applies to all transfers. Once the grace period expires, a per-minute charge will be calculated and itemized separately on the receipt or invoice. The following grace periods apply. Please note: Flight arrivals are based on “gate arrival” times provided by our flight tracking systems.
Wait time
Wait time charges apply once the grace period has been exceeded. The wait time is calculated per minute and varies by vehicle type. In the USA, the wait time for a sedan is $2.00 per minute, while for an SUV, it is $3.00 per minute. Charges for other vehicle types or locations may vary depending on the region.
Hourly Service
Hourly service is a private reservation of a vehicle and chauffeur for private use on a continual service basis. Hourly service charges are calculated by multiplying the vehicle type hourly rate by the usage time. Hourly charges commence from the time the chauffeur departs the base garage to begin service and continuing through such time the chauffeur concludes service and returns to the base garage. Hourly service usage minimums may vary due to special events and/or predefined service market hourly minimums.
Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise specified on your reservation confirmation, all bookings are subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy. In certain circumstances, cancellation terms may vary based on the scheduled event or the garage location providing the service. Cancellations will incur a fee equal to the full cost of the services outlined in the current reservation or the original booking, whichever amount is greater.
No-Show Policy
Unless otherwise requested by the booker or passenger, OnPoint chauffeurs will remain at the designated pickup location for up to 60 minutes from the scheduled pickup time or the flight’s gate arrival time. If no contact is made with the passenger or booker within this timeframe, the chauffeur will be released, and the service will be considered completed. The applicable charges will then be applied.
Exchange Rates
For quotes in currencies other than U.S. dollars, rates are based on the exchange rate applicable at the time of booking. The final bill will be calculated using the exchange rate in effect at the time of billing.
Early morning surcharge
An early morning surcharge applies to any service with a pickup scheduled between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM or requiring the vehicle and driver to be in service during this time frame.
Trip Changes Policy
OnPoint Worldwide will make every effort to accommodate changes made before the minimum cancellation notice period. However, last-minute or late changes to the vehicle type, itinerary, pickup location, or flight arrival time may not be feasible due to time constraints with the original scheduled pickup. In some cases, implementing changes may require canceling the original booking and creating a new one, which could result in charges for both the original and the new booking.
Child Safety Seats Policy
OnPoint Worldwide offers child safety seats upon request for an additional fee of $75 per seat. It is the booker’s responsibility to specify the type of seat needed. The available options include an infant seat, a forward-facing toddler seat, and a booster seat. For safety and legal reasons, OnPoint will provide the child seat, but chauffeurs are not responsible for its installation.
No-Smoking Policy
OnPoint enforces a strict no-smoking policy in all vehicles. We are dedicated to maintaining a smoke-free environment to protect the health and safety of both our employees and customers. Passengers who smoke in our vehicles will be subject to a cleaning fee of up to $500.00 USD.
Pet and Service Animals Policy
Animals may only be transported in a kennel or soft-sided pet carrier. If the animal causes any damage to the vehicle, a damage or cleaning fee of up to $200.00 USD may apply. However, passengers with disabilities traveling with a service animal are not required to use a kennel or carrier. Any hearing-impaired, visually impaired, or physically disabled person riding in an OnPoint vehicle is permitted to be accompanied by a service animal at no additional charge.
Lost or Misplaced Items Policy
OnPoint assumes no liability for any lost or misplaced personal property. However, if any items are found, every effort will be made to return them to their owner at the client’s expense.
Incidental Charges
Incidental charges may be incurred by OnPoint during the provision of a service. These charges may include, but are not limited to, chauffeur hotel accommodations and meals, greeter fees, parking fees, fuel surcharges, airport tolls, surface transaction charges, and road or highway tolls. In these cases, a line item indicating the charge and amount will be included on your receipt or invoice.
Surface Transportations Charge (STC)
The STC is a surcharge that accounts for various overhead expenses, some of which may not be directly related to the specific trip. It is always calculated as a flat percentage of the base rate.
Fuel Surcharge
Fuel surcharges may be added to all services as a percentage of total base service amounts. Fuel charge percentage may vary for some specialty vehicles, including vans, mini-buses, and motor coaches.
Vehicle equipment expectations
OnPoint Worldwide reserves the right to assign a different vehicle type or model depending on the geographic service area. Additionally, amenities like Wi-Fi may not be available due to the specific location or country of travel.
Mistake on your online booking
If you make an error in your online booking and are unable to manage the change, you have up to 2 hours from the time of booking to contact our 24/7 travel center to verbally correct or update your reservation.
